Chinese Body Clock

The Chinese Body Clock, also known as the Chinese Organ Clock, shows how the body’s Qi (life force or energy) cycles through the 12 organ systems during a 24-hour period. The clock is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Qi moves in two-hour intervals through the organ systems, meaning that each organ has a two-hour window during which it is flooded with vital energy and functions optimally. Chinese Medicine practitioners use the clock to diagnose which organ is diseased and is deprived from Qi.
