Intravenous Laser Therapy
In intravenous laser therapy, laser light of different colors is applied directly into the bloodstream. Laser irradiation of the blood is performed through venous access, similar to an infusion, and is therefore also referred to as laser infusion.
Different wavelengths of the laser are used, each having a specific therapeutic effect.
Thus, the following wavelengths and colors have been found to be beneficial and are used in intravenous laser therapy: infrared, red, yellow, green, blue and UV (ultraviolet).
