Naturopathy

Naturopathy represents a holistic approach to promoting health based on natural healing methods. This includes various fields of application such as phytotherapy (herbal medicine), heat and cold applications, Mind-Body Medicine, acupuncture as well as nutrition and exercise therapy. The close relationship between patient and therapist has contributed to naturopathy gaining popularity worldwide as a complementary method to conventional medicine.

The basic assumption of naturopathy is that the body has the ability to heal itself and that this should be activated and strengthened. The aim is to support the body in combating the causes of illnesses rather than simply treating the symptoms.
The focus is on a holistic view of the person, in which both physical and psychological aspects are incorporated into the therapy. The environment, including interpersonal relationships, is also taken into account as an important factor. The guiding principle is: “Illness should always be seen in its overall context in order to be successfully cured.”

Naturopathy is based on the principle of regulating and encouraging the body's own life force. The choice of therapy is individual, depending on the patient's body constitution and health issues.
