Chelation therapy is a proven medical treatment for heavy metal poisoning. Heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium or mercury can accumulate in the tissue, resulting in organ damage. Chelation involves the use of chelating agents, such as EDTA, DMSA, DMPS, which can bind to the heavy metals and transport them out of the body. Chelation is also used in diseases which can be partly caused by heavy metal poisoning, such as cardiovascular disease, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.

Chelation therapy is an effective method of detoxifying the body. However, due to the possible risks and side effects, it should only be carried out under the supervision of experienced doctors. Embedded in an integrative and individually customised overall concept, chelation therapy can provide effective support for a wide range of illnesses.
