St John’s Wort, botanically called Hypericum Perforatum, is a well-known medicinal plant that has been used in various cultures for centuries.

Due to its mood-enhancing properties, it is often used for mild to moderate depression, sleep disorders and nervous restlessness. Additionally, it helps with skin problems, wound healing and inflammatory diseases.

Despite its positive effects, St John’s wort should be used with caution and under supervision of a doctor as it can have some negative interactions.
